Got this for our 2 week old so that we would have a safe place to spend time with them, because I felt sad that they seemed to be confined just to our arms and their crib. It's a delight even for adults to lie down on, and I could even do some gentle yoga poses while baby relaxed and took in their surroundings on the mat. The Wander Mat is so comfortable, and a perfect place for both parents to cuddle with baby, play with baby, and we even used it for their first bath so that if nervous parents (us) dropped baby, they wouldn't have too far to fall. Thankfully all went well, and baby was so relaxed that he did a massive poo at the end of the bath that went all over parents - thankfully, Wander Mat was easy to clean, and we could quickly wipe it down and go back to enjoying our sweet bubba. Couldn't recommend this enough, I know this mat will definitely be paying for itself in beautiful memories, and also help us spend more time enjoying our little one and less time worrying about cleanup, spills, and falls!
